    MC Junior

The old skool MC and singer of some very famous hardcore tracks from the mid 90's has died. Still no news on the cause of death yet.

I don't care if I get slated for it but I like that tune!

Really sad news - I've heard it was due to an eplileptic fit but don't know if that is confirmed or not

yeah big shame. Never knew him from his days at Oscars but we crossed path at a few happy hardcore events in the late 90's around the time he got banged up for a bit.

Ragardless of wether you like Force & Styles' shit, its sad to see another artist from the hardcore scene go.

When you think that most people in the scene still wont have hit 50 yet, its wrong that the likes of HMS, Stevie Hyper D etc are not still around.

I have to agree as I loved Pretty Green Eyes.

I heard that he was about to get signed by a major when he was Force & Styles mc but he got got in some trouble and did some bird instead.

Pretty sad news none the less.

    mate..........

i checked out the mos page selling this... some of the comments had me roaring with laughter...

its not even jungle, most of it is dnb.

yeah there some new dnb tunes on it but most of it is oldskool jungle.

to be honest i would even buy it myself.....

    IF

    1. i dint own almost all of them on vinyl
    2. i didnt have .wav rips of 99% of them on there
    3. they hadnt been featured on every jungle album in the last 15 years (i have 3 different cds infront of me with 99% all the same tunes on from the last 10 years)
    4. i couldnt just log into this or a thousand other forums / blogs and download a 320 or .wav rip for free
    5. i was 15 years old

Haha, yeah I remember that set! Another favourite of mine is when he told Charlie B "....you aint got no f*ckin' manners" (think it was HS Nightlife?!)

I was always a fan of Junior's- granted he wasn't the best MC, but at least he wasnt as predictable as a lot of them. He was definately a character

Yeah I completely agree- I certainly wouldnt call that "hardcore" by a long stretch- for me it all went down hill around '96; I only added that vid as its the "best one" on YT of Junior
