They are that price because of the frequency response rate of 8 - 50000 Hz. Seeing how we can only hear from 20Hz to 20KHz I dont see why someone woould want these. A pair that is somewhere between 16hz - 30KHz should suffice most audiophiles. Boasting it as being "Binaural"....please

DJ Mutley... I've heard he's calling his next mix frequency response (due to his wickedly overpriced headphones)

wtf is that all about !! £810 item used, how much were they new

if this dood is willing to cough £810 on a set of headphones, god only imagines what his studio looks like !

me ill stick with my £13 sony v150's,they dont like being twisted and i have been through countless pairs over the years, but for home dj'in etc iv always found them ample and i have some pretty saucy speakers and can still hear the headphones fine

brand new those go for between £1000 and £1500

they really are the bollox if you have to use headphones for reference work as they're as good as having top of the line PMC monitors strapped to your head!

if you're production is that serious then a pair of £1500 headphones is gonna be nothing compared the rest of your kit's cost.

that said though, i'll stick with my senheiser hd-25 models!
