What current DnB producers / labels do you rate?

Ok so in another thread some of us have been discussing the state of the dnb scene & how it's over run with wibbly wobbly shite & clown-step! Personally there's only realy been a handfull of producers that have kept me interested in more recent times. They are...........

    Seba

    Kryptic Minds & Leonne Switch

    Nebula

    Fanu

As far as labels go I'd have to with Secret Operations, Scientific Wax, Subtle Audio, Defcom

    Who do you guys rate?

    Mutt / Skitty / D-Bridge / Breakage / Commix / Lynx / Marcus Visionary

Just a few I could think of. Tbh I lost touch with dnb for a big part in the last couple of years. All this crap that was coming out...Not only the clown-step but some of the liquid dnb as well...so boring (-| perfect music to play at the background in supermarkets. I have to say though that there's been a lot more tracks recently that got me enthusiastic again.

I know what you mean about liquid, most of it's in the same league as clown-step for me! Some of the shite High Contrast, Danny Byrd & the likes put out is soooo fuckin cheesey! With the exeption of High Contrast - If We Ever, a classic piece of oldskool style dnb shame he doesn't make more stuff like that

Re: What current DnB producers / labels do you rate?

AFTER OLDSKOOL, THE OTHER MAIN STYLE I DJ IS D&B, I TEND TO MIX UP THE BEST DEEPER STUFF FROM THE LAST FEW YEARS AND LIKE PRODUCERS SUCH AS:

    MARCUS INTALEX
    COMMIX
    EQUINOX
    BREAKAGE
    ALPHA OMEGA
    DIGITAL
    SPIRIT
    SERUM
    BLADERUNNER
    ZERO TOLERANCE (AKA ZERO T)
    KLUTE
    CALIBRE
    TOTAL SCIENCE
    MAKOTO
    BROOKES BROTHERS

AND SOME OF NEW JUNGLE STUFF FROM BENNY PAGE & VISIONARY

I LIKE ANYTHING DEEP OR WITH OLDSKOOL/ HARDCORE/ JUNGLE SOUNDS IN IT (I THINK EVERY PRODUCER - EVEN THE JUMP UP ONES HAVE AT LEAST ONE GOOD TUNE IN THEM! JUST FINDING ITS THE DIFFICULTY AS THERES SO MUCH OUT THERE NOW). NOT INTO WOBBLE/CLOWNSTEP/ CHEESY OR GIMMICKY RECORDS!
