i really listen to all kinds of music,
techno used to be my main genre, but todays techno isn't that good i think,i dont like most of the minimal stuff so... i do like some of it for listening, but for going out raving it doesn't cut it for me
so after techno it was mainly tekno, hardcore, acid and wonky techno i started to go out to...
today i dont go out as much as i used to,only when i think the acts are worth it, but i live in belgium and every weekend we do get alot of good stuff here
and lately i've been listening lotsof chillout, triphop, breaks, idm, and some pop music,i always play music when i'm working and it's just nicer to listen to something mellow when i'm working
also lotsof progressive trance lately...
less and less harder music, gues i'm getting old
also, josh homme is godqueens of the stone age are the best rockband in my opinion

well oldskool 1990 was my fav deep stuff i also like pink floyd animals oasis jimmy hendrix![]()
Used to listen to The Animals a lot when I was a kid. My Mam bought me a tape and I wore the thing out!
Feck it I'll give everything a listen-not a fan of silly sub genre names for the sake of it etc
Though I'm finding that as I get older my tolerance threshold to Music Televsion is lowering!
can listen to anything apart from classical or heavy metal, top 5 are-
1, 1992 oldskool hardcore
2, dnb old and new
3, 1985 to 1990 old hip hop
4, happy hardcore (soz but i can get in to the speeded up chipmunk soundin lyrics after a few beers or a smoke)
5, todays mainstream hip hop/rnb (eminem, akon, black eyed peas etc)
cant stand this "grime" or these youths "spittin lyrics" there all at it thinkin there the next big rapperwhat a load of shit

90 - 94 hardcore & jungle, some current dnb (& when i say some i mean maybe 5% of what's coming out), oldskool hip hop from late 80's - late 90's, some rock / indie, allsorts! Music mad that's me! Don't love it all though! Not realy feeling the hole dub-step thing, not for me. & I hate euro pop cheese & anything manufactured to make money from the parents of 12 yr old girls!!!![]()

Gotta agree with you there, am not too keen on many of the dnb MC's either! Personally I think most MC's should have been shot @ birth! Did I just say thatOriginally Posted by tonezinit

Love a bit of Girls Aloud too =p~
Favourite Type of Music without a doubt is old skool especially between 1988-1992 but all various types - Acid, House, Belaric, Hip Hop 1989, Hip House etc etc.
I think 1988-1989 was the greatest time. Ahh The Summer of Love 1988-1989 memories memories.
Stevie G
Without going into detail pretty much all types of oldskool, also love the drum and bass one nation stuff from 99-2003 i guess thats classed as oldskool nowadays aswell. I used to be into old indie bands such as Joy Division, The Cure, The Smiths and still put them on now and again aswell as Johnny Cash.
Favourite music would have to be late '92 to early '93 old-skool hardcore. There's just something about that era from summer '92 to Spring '93 that hits the nail on the head for me.
That's my favourite but I'm into loads of other stuff too. I've really been getting into the harder side of Breaks for the last couple of years now - Hardcore Beats, Bassrock, Broke, Against the Grain, Cyberfunk, Passenger, Cut & Run etc.
