Your favourite or most embarrassing mashup that you listen to.

Although I've always loved hearing tracks in the mix I always preferred a long mix of two tracks, the longer the better, not so long back I discovered mashup's on youtube & when I need a quick blast from the past it's mashups I look for.

I mainly look for old skool tunes in a mashup style with new tunes, I can't find as many as I like but I have also come across mixtures of old tunes in the mix/mashup that I wouldn't have normally ever thought I would want to listen to, in fact the Status Quo one is shockingly embarrassing that I like it, but the extra beats make it ok.

What's your favourite old skool mashup be that old skool house type mashups with new or the various combinations there are.
Do you have one or two that you would turn down if you thought people knew you was listening to it?

Here's some of mine in both.

    Pump up the volume Detroit

Prodigy vs. Ini Kamoze (DJ Mif Mashup)

    Kylie Slow (Kraftwerk Mix)

    Rolling Stones vs Shannon

    m/a/r/r/s vs visage

A Message To You Rudy The Specials DJ GI Joe Remix

    Satisfaction vs Satisfaction/Stones vs Benassi

    Rick Astley vs Nirvana

Status Quo - In The Army Now (Techno Remix)

haha some of them hilarious and at the same time cringeworthy

Ones that spring to mind for me (I can't find clips anywhere though) were

Pendulum "Slam" vs Kenny Loggins "Highway To Danger Zone" (from Top Gun B-) )

Logistics "Together VIP" (Drum & Bass) vs Tiffany "I Think We Are Alone Now".(it just uses the some of the vocals, not the chorus though).

I'll keep looking for clips, but there was nothing on Youtube.

I've made quite a few dodgy ones in my time. I made this one a few days ago.

Let it be known, I'll try and whack Vanilla Ice over the top of anything.

There's a old one which mixes Nirvana with Bootylicious... think it's "Smells like teen booty" or something. Used to go down well at student nights when I was at uni

Here's a little mashup I made myself, I know its probably laughable to most of you, but I was quite pleased with it :ymblushing: and suprisingly It currently has over 300 downloads from my blog and 300+ views on youtube

I took MC Duke's legendary 'Smokin beats' and Supercat's 'It Fe Done' and put 'em together to make this...

Cheers (dj) Timeless , I spent all of ten minutes making it, hence the quality. I was planning to try and produce another 3 tracks eventually then would have enhanced this one but just never got round to it.

Always a crowd pleaser when I've dropped this one:
