Give me a few days and this list will be changed, but for the moment here's mt top 5.

#1 Nino - The Gun (I See It Around Me). This was one of the first tunes I picked up upon on those ole Telstar 'Kaos Theory' CD's, and one of the only piano tunes I liked back then. Was more into my breakbeats.
Nino - Future Of Latin / The Gun (Vinyl) at Discogs

#2 Doc Scott - N.H.S. (Reinforced Shout). I had this on loads of mixtapes and that gnarly mantasm riff midway through just got me every time. Loved the busyness and speed too.
Doc Scott - Last Action Hero EP (Vinyl) at Discogs

#3 Conquering Lion - Dub Plate Special (Ruff Cut). Another mixtape classic this. Took me ages to get this i.d.-ed, but those 'Can you set it, soundbwoy can you set it, set it' coupled with the junglistic breaks made this a favourite.
Conquering Lion - Lion Of Judah (Vinyl) at Discogs

#4 Nebula II - X-Plore H-Core (Remix). When I heard a soundclip of this I knew I had to have this track. Dark as hell and that Sheffield warehouse style bleep section in the drop is magic.
Nebula II - X-Plore H-Core / Peace Maker (Remixes) (Vinyl) at Discogs

#5 LFO (The Leeds Warehouse Mix). The original Sheffield track for me this. I remember hearing this on Top Of The Pops and thinking it was totally otherworldly. Pure classic!
LFO - LFO (Vinyl) at Discogs

Can't really do a top 5 as there's so many quality tunes from back then, plus depends on my mood

But here's 5 tunes important to me from back then:

'Nu-Matic's 'Into A Dream' is bleedin' quality Renegade! Those hoover riffs seal the deal on that one. The band had quite a few goodies tucked away on their AA-Sides!

They did a fair few decent tracks - 1 half of the team is an early Bay B Kane.

i've tried so many times to answer this question, 10 is hard but 5 near on impossible..
the only way i could get close was by breaking it down by years but mood depending that could change..lol

1 thing is for sure, the tracks i choose now are not the same as back then. i guess thats because i can see into the goldfish bowl now instead of then being in there and wondering what else was to come ( if that makes sense ??) 88 - 94 is time locked and instead of skipping through tracks back then, i'm now listening.

    88 - 90 ( no particular order )

Victor romeo - love will find a way
    Fallout - the morning after
    Renegade sondwave - the phantom
    ragga twins - lamborghini
    fast eddie - my melody

    1990

    helter skelter - radio babylon
Satin Storm - First EP - Satin Storm
    LFO - LFO
Nation 12 - listen to the Drummer
    GTO - Pure

    1991 ( too hard to choose )

    HHFD - Total confusion
    Trigger - Stratoshpere
    X Static - Free
Razor Boy & Mirror Man - Cutter Mix
    The Prodigy - Your Love
The house crew - keep the fire burning

    1992/93 (... now it's hurting )

    Automation-Espionage-Remix
    Tic Tac Toe - 456
Sacred - Do It Together (The Baggy's Mix)
    dance conspiracy - dubwar
Kaotic Chemistry - LSD EP - Space cakes
    Babylon Timewarp - Durban Poison
The Invisible Man - The End (Drug Induced Psychosis Mix)
    dark and moody vol 1 - aa1
    Cloud 9 - bugged
Edge of darkness - Come together

    1994

Omni Trio - Thru The vibe
Dream Team (VIP Remix) - Yeah man
    .......

    that made my brain hurt!!!

Rhythm Section - Feel the rhythm (1991)
