Thread: It's All About Oldskool 1st Anniversary Event Sets

Ok folks, so here are links to most of the sets from Saturday.

I say most because we suffered a few small hiccups with the recordings. Those being : the mic got left on during my set resulting in what can best be described as an air raid siren of soundcard feedback loop and conversation over some very quiet background hardcore. Glen's set was also not recorded due to the record out being muted (and me going walkabout for some dinner and not noticing before i left!). Same goes for the first half of Timeless' set. The first 15 mins of Euphoria's set was also missed due to shenanigans with the minidisc we were recording to at first before switching to my laptop.

What was recorded is pure gold though and I will be getting in the studio (ok, garage) wednesday night to replay the set for anyone that wants to hear it.

Space Ear's set was too long to fit within the 200mb limits, thus the split archive for his.
No passwords so get em up wherever you fancy as these are quality sets that everyone should get a chance to hear!

*edit. all joking aside i must say that the sets from the junglists were spot on mixingwise and the tune selection was heavy. got a couple of mates that are kicking themselves they missed them*

Typically, I'm getting 'file corrupt' when trying to unzip Space Ears set?

Be nice to get some tracklistings together for these as well..... I won't be able to help with the gunshot jungle sets though!!

Yep..... though Haze played before Gershwin & Glen Aston played after Gershwin!

i know timeless mentioned on the nigh that he may redo his set so you get the full hour. tbh it was the set i wasn't expecting to be too into as it was later stuff...but he rocked it and every tune was a proper cracker imo

i remember haze talking to me as i was mixing and clanging very early on into my set thats my excuse and im sticking to it

hah! My missus is on for 5 seconds at the end of Timeless's set, she's chuffed to buggery (although this doesn't happen in the bedroom department ) that she's famous!

just re-uploaded the space ear set. tested the archive but not the download. should be all good though

LOL @ my sets being corrupted - how apt!

Part one seems to work ok but the second is an empty archive. From what I heard so far it took me a while to warm up but I do remember doing some reasonable scratching later on (Also ACG did do a few mixes in my set too so better credit him with that even though he is not a forum member).
