Thread: Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - Multiplayer

I'm going to spend a LOT of time on this.

I've pre-ordered it. The 1st Modern Warfare is the best game I've ever played... even better than Fallout 3 IMO

Hate Fallout 3 (-| However, when COD MW2 does drop on the mat, it'll have to go on eBay... RIP Xbox

Cant wait for this. COD4 rules at the moment and has done since it came out for me

Do you guys prefer the Modern Warefare game over the others which deal in the WWII campaigns?

I personally do - I was very bored of wars in the past, especially the WWII, and I thought that the COD series was wearing a bit fine by the time COD 3 came out - although it was a good game in its own right. But with the addition of the excellent MOH series too, it surprised me that they kept churning out WWII stuff; mind you, it obviously sold, and that's whats it's about ATEOTD, isn't it?

I actually thought fair play to COD for doing MW - greater appeal to the gamers imo, who like their modern weaponry.

Slightly off topic, MW2 is by far the best game I've ever player, closely followed by... Black (Criterion). The game got slated, but I couldn't get eough of it; was just wondering what the other members on here think of it???

The Resurgence Maps are set to be released on June 3 on Xbox Live, and an unknown date, probably one month after on PS3

Resurgence will feature maps old and new, including two Call of Duty 4 maps and three new locations:

* Vacant -- the wide open Russian office complex from CoD4 (best map on CoD4 imo)
* Strike -- the urban town surrounded by hotels from CoD4
* Carnival -- an abandoned carnival area with a Ferris wheel, fun house and other attractions
* Trailer Park -- full of "super tight corridors" and featuring a pool ("Mobile Estates," Bowling calls it)
* Fuel -- a "sniper haven" based in and around an oil refinery

Ooooh, if you're talking about what we think of Black ---- best shooter on the first XBox --- seriously underrated and didn't get mass appeal because of when it was released - just as the next-gen was coming out.

I am not sure about Strike on the 360, as I am on PS3, but yeah, Carnival does look sweet, however, Bailout didnt look the best out of the Stimulus maps, but is probably my favourite map ever out of them all.

Cant wait for the Resurgance Pack to hit the PS3, all these maps look sweet. Heres the in game footage...
