    COD: Black Ops

Pre-ordered my copy online yesterday.... anyone else done the same or are you gonna' run the gauntlet of bagging it from a shop?

I'm hoping they send it out to arrive on the release date tomorrow & don't actually wait until tomorrow to send it....

Myself & six of my mates have all got Friday off to properly get stuck in....

I'm sort of in Sarge's boat on this - my Bday is 2 weeks before Crimbo so thats probably my persnal War Day.

Tho saying that, due to the expense of it in Iceland, my man txtpest is getting his copy sent to me this week & then he wants me to send it on to him......i'd be rude not to surely?

I just furnished myself with an xbox 360 a few weeks ago, I already bought Modern Warfare 2 for it & I'm absolutely loving it! When I get the chance that is! I think I'll wait 'till I've completed it & then grab a copy of Black Ops, should be able to grab a bargain on ebay when the time comes

I've just got Snatch & Grab & run the pit in under 30 seconds to do on MW2 to Platinum it... But if i get Black Ops tommorrow i'll crack on with that instead

I will be getting it for sure, still not ordered it though, might just get it sent to my house and get them to forward it to me, but could I do that to Dodders

My nephew pre-ordered it too and the lucky swine is playing it now as he got it a day early!!

This release is gonna be big. My xbox died last summer (luckily I'd just completed MW1) and I never bothered getting it repaired/replacing it as I thought some of the releases coming out were shite.

I am currently trying to persuade the missus to get me one for xmas, then I'm gonna buy Assassin's Creed trilogy, MW1 & 2 & Black Ops & the F1 game.
Doesn't look likely at the moment though

Jesus, is anyone gonna be on the forum tomorrow?

I have been playing the single player for over a week and I got my original copy on Saturday to play for real online.

I would say if you are a big fan of world at war you will love it, If you are a big fan of Modern Warfare then you will be back to playing that within 2 months.

Got my copy at work today. Although i'm not going to be playing it as Fallout still has all my attention.

I might just stick it in the machine now and have a quick look.

I just finished the campaign on veteran, pretty damm hard

Makes it my 4th COD game completed on veteran.

Quality game, i really really enjoyed it and the multiplayer as more than enough to keep me occupied over the next few months. Especially the wager matches (Gun game )

Nice twist as well, in single player.

This is gonna sound like a stupid question as the game is an 18, but what makes this game especially unsuitable for kids (7-8 years old), over a game like halo? My girlfriends nephew plays halo but not sure if this would be a bit much for him to play?

Lots of swearing, limbs being blown off, knives through eyes, that kind of thing. I let my lad play it, he's 10, but bright enough to know that it's only a game. Personally, I wouldn't let a 7 year old anywhere near it, but it's a judgement call.

Cool, I have the game myself (but can't play it yet due to the fuckedness of my xbox) and I'm being pestered to let him play it. May have to rethink!
