well a friend of mine had got dj hero on his ps3 how he blagged that early id never know,so i guess ill be popping round at some point to have a spin..

although iv unpackaged one at work and i reckon the three buttons on the plate will cause me co-ordernation issues then make me question my dj'in abilities lol

Another one of my ideas stolen.

I thought of this game a couple of years ago, I even stuck up a big post about it on PO about the idea of doing something like this...and low and behold, it's been done ~x(

I don't really like it for the music though, it seems to be all pop artists and crappy R'n'B and blingy rap

guitar hero, dj hero & all those kind of games do my head in, I just dont understand the point in prancing around pretending to play the guitar or mix when you could actualy spend that time actualy learning to play the guitar or learning how to mix ~x(

I also thought of this concept about 5 years ago when these dancemats were being connected up to Playstations.

I would never purchase this, as it turns out that DJ "I don't need to mix in my set I'll just gas on the phone for an hour and let a mix CD play instead" Mistabishi had an input into the product.

Looks cheap, cack, and before you know it, there'll be another influx of 10 year old DJs

Bunch of Victors Meldrews, its fun guys dont take it to serious. I think guitar hero and Dj hero is great to play when the mates are round as they can join in, its a bit shit when you go to see a mate and he stuck in the corner on his decks while you are sat on your own tossing one off. They have competion's at the local boozer on this I think its a laugh. Its also a great way to get my kids into music past and present which is always a good thing.

my mate bought the posh version of this for xbox...£170! you get metal knobs and X fader and flightcase with legs you can stand it on. i have played on it and its bloody hard to get the scratches on. gotta admit i found it a novelty at first but it soon wore off. its too rigid and linear for my liking theres no freestyle scratching feature on it, at least i didn't find one, but maybe they will put something to download on live eventually.

7/10 not bad music, but some awful hibrids..not mixes, mongrols.

I got DJ Hero, the Renegade Edition & it's bloody good fun & once i get started it's hard to get off it
The tracks are pretty good too, maybe a couple i'm not keen on but nevermind eh.
Couple of problems with it though... If you get sweaty fingers they slip off the buttons when scratching & it's harder to scratch using the blue button (closest to the centre of the turntable).
Another major problem i'm having it is it won't sign in to the DJ Hero server?! It says i have to sign into the Playstation Network first, but i am signed in... Anybody else having this problem? it's been signing in for the last 10 bloody minutes ~x(

I got just over 100,000 odd on one of the mixes, 5 stars... Fuckin awesome
It's pissing me off not being able to go online with it coz i want to see how it is, all my other games go straight online but i was waiting over 15 minutes for it to go online & i got fed up of waiting... It kept saying i had to sign in to the Playstation Network first, so i turned the PS3 off, logged in but didn't sign into the PS Network & let DJ Hero do it for me & it still didn't work ~x(

All in all it's bloody addictive when you get going on it... Except when you have a scratch heavy mix & when scratching the blue button it slips too far & the green button isn't there when you need it immediately after so you miss it & it fucks everything up
