I would love to see a return to the 80's again like Vice City, but I have a feeling it won't be anything like that. It will probably be a San Andreas kind of game, which was fantastic anyway, I just love the 80's stuff.

To be honest i don't mind where or when its set as long as it doesn't take itself as seriously as the last one. Seemed to me they cared too much about their characters (the main one of which i thought was awful) & storyline & forgot about the fun part.

Never played any of them properly...

Not really my kinda' games... Not since spending 2 months solid playing Zelda on the N64 back in the late 90's... Vowed never to get involved again!

I really enjoyed IV, the scope of the game and the involvement was fantastic. It wasn't perfect, no where near, but it certainly gave you a lot more freedom than the others, well, apart from San Andreas.

Don't get me wrong i enjoyed it - it just didn't feel like a GTA to me. I'd have been quite happy to lose a bit of graphic texture to have more explosive fun - like in S.A where you could cause HUGE pile-ups coz the cars just kept coming - IV didn't allow for that.

Saying all that the DLC they brought out (Ballad of Gay Tony) was quality. Felt much more like a throwback with the OTT nature of it

Just watched before u posted. Looks so much better than IV. IV had that sort of drab feel about it - lots of greys. Not sure you've got your 80's wish but its definitely got a more Hollywood look about it. Moist factor of about 9.2

Nope, it's not a return to the 80's and Vice City I'm sad to say, but it is a return to San Andreas which was a fantastic game and a great place to play the game.

Loving the speculation thats flying around about whats in & whats not.

If they keep pretty much to the original map i'll be well chuffed. I'd quite like to see the Grove St crew make an appearance as well - maybe tell a similar story as the first S.A but from another gangs perspective. Oh, and they GOTTA bring back that jetpack thing

There's loads of "leaked" stuff coming thick and fast each day. It's quite funny really. It certainly hypes the game even more and R* must be loving the attention it's getting. The only thing I will believe is what R* tells us and not what forums around the world are spewing out.

Dodders if you remember the first GTA you should try Saints row 1/2 and the upcoming 3rd.

To me it feels like what original GTA would of been like if it was 3rd person.

GTA IV wasnt fun at all and didnt care to even it, boring and no fun at all.

Seems that Rockstar/GTA forgotten their roots.
