Recommendations Pls

My system is not too great, can anyone tell me some good torrents or links where I can grab some half decent games that will work on my now pretty old system...

Spec:
OS - XP sp3
Processor - P4 3Ghz
Memory - 3 Gig
Graphics - Nvidia Geforce 7600 GS

Preference would be first person shooters but am open to other suggestions

Why not try out some emulators instead as they tend to have low overheads, graphically and CPU wise. Or, try joining a good torrent tracker aimed at gamers like :-

Down at the mo (probably a D.O.S. attack or maintenance) but they should be back up in a couple of days. If you are specifically looking for PC games then anything before the end of 2006 should work quite nicely on your PC. My suggestions would be Half-Life series, Deus EX, Far Cry, Call of Duty series, Medal of Honour series, the Doom series, F.E.A.R., the Quake series, the Unreal series, Battlefield series, Rainbow 6 Vegas, Comdemned, The Godfather, Call of Cthulhu, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2, Prey, Marc Ecko’s Getting Up, Hitman Blood Money, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Painkiller, Serious Sam, Bioshock, Enemy Territory Quake Wars, Lost Planet, Call of Juarez.

I got a spare invite or 10. They have a strict anti-leeching policy and have various things to stop the hit and runners, but they have the best content as you will see. PM me an email address to send the invite link to. That's their requirement not mine (unlike Demonoid). If their ratio's don't improve they are deleting over 3,200 leechers accounts within the next 24 hrs or so keep checking and you will be able to register. They don't torrent track anything before 2004 so PS2, XPOX 360, PS3 and newer PC games are out. Anything else is fair game.

As you can only download from one torrent when you join, join on what they call a Golden Torrent Week. They have these three times a year with one starting next Friday. For example, full console sets are normally Golden Torrents. On a Golden Torrent week your download ratio is ignored when downloading from a Golden Torrent and your upload ratio is doubled. Once you have uploaded 10GB and have a ratio of 1.05 or above you become a power user and are IMMUNE to automatic account deletion. Easily reached on a Golden Torrent week. I just downloaded two or three of the most popular PSX games from their 99 % NTSC (U) Redump Golden Torrent and seeded and seeded over the week. One quick power user account able to leech up to 10 torrents.
