A very good Flashplayer game indeed. No gimmicks, no ads, 3 registration boxes.

The only thing I will say is that the front end menus are a bit tricky to navigate round. Once you get used to how it all works, it's very addictive.

If you've not done so I would suggest spending some money on it and upgrade clubs.

Can highly recommend the Rapture V2 10.5 Driver, Rapture V2 3 Fairway Wood, Rapture V2 Iron Set, and the Spider putter. Don't arse around with the wedges...... the Starter PW and Sw are both fanatastic... oh, and buy some balls; the WGT B-XD give you about another 5-10yds depending on wind condition.... set me back about 20 sovs..

Longest drive with this set up = 290yds....!! and only in a 12mph wind,..

Bethpage needs the extra yardage just for a par round, and I'm currently averaging -2 to -4 Queer Island...

I'm even currently sitting front page on the Wolf Creek Challenege; (rank 48th so I could get pushed out) on the closest the hole quick play! with a 79.79 yds distance.... if I hit this one totally right I could get it down to 20yds...

Would like to see a putting range and driving range though....

That is some average mate, currently playing off 81 or thereabouts (Pro) and have bought the golden putter, which is awful. I know you need to come in the top 70 in the 9-hole tournaments to get career points, but is there any other way to earn them APART from actually buying them.

Nah, there's no way of getting Career Earnings (and thus the all important WGT Credits) without playing comps, and generally getting lucky; for example you can get $1 worth (about 100WGT) for hitting flagstick in comps, or play etc.

The top 70 thing is for those comps you pay to enter; most of the free to enter is based on a lottery system, you just need to play around not even get a good score and that lottery ticket can still come in............ check the rules as your entering. I don't tend to play a lot of the comps, seen as how they fook the wind to max and then I keep losing balls.

Thats an annoyance; lose a ball to water/out of bounds and you lose the ball you've bought and paid for. so I do pick and choose when I'm going to use them...

If you think about it, reason there doing this is it is a free to run flash, there not getting much from advert, so they hope as people want to progress they buy in for new clubs etc; which, you'd spend less doing than say going and buying this game on disc for PC......... Given the quality of there putting in quite a bit for it so there trying to get something back from.

There's a few of us here playing it here, and we generally avoid the comps unless your on your own, and play each other for bragging rights.

So soon as one upgraded though we all followed tout sweet cause he was twatting us all over the show.

Spider putter though, fooking great.. not done much for lengthy putts but I can generally now 95% putt anything with 10-12ft of pin, and on long putts 30-50ft get ball set for second shot within 1-3ft of hole.........

As it happened I got my pb putt at 39 feet on the last hole... the other two yanks logged off when they were in the plus figures (didn't want to ruin their handicap, tossers)
