Just gotta say that the Stanley Cup is Vancouver's this year.
I believe.

from Vancouver perhaps? I haven't followed the NHL for a number of years...I'm English, but love the Ice Hockey. I support the Aves, so I'm hoping they can defeat San Jose and progress...although I wouldn't have a clue to their chances; sometimes the #8 seed can upset the #1s. I now live in Oz and I think the Hockey is only shown on Fox Sports, through Foxtel - which I don't have.
Bummer. I don't care, as long as it's not Detroit.![]()
No offence to the fans but its not my cup of cha.
Big ugly hairy dudes with no teeth who are bitter that they weren't gay enough to be ice skaters....![]()

hahaha....it's not quite that simple but I like your take on it. Amusing. The fact that they could be 'bitter' makes them into hyper-aggressive yet uber-agile and skilled Ice Hockey machinesOriginally Posted by dodders

Bloody marvellous. Ice Hockey is beautiful :ymdevil:
Hate the Canucks now..loved them till 1996
What changed in '96?
Penguins are taking it again![]()
The Canucks are awesome now. I think Vancouver could have a shot.
Penguins are a possibility. I actually hope San Jose does alright since they've always choked so bad in the playoffs.
I didn't watch hockey for 10 years or so, but I've really been back into it for the past 2-3 years. I like the rule changes. They help prevent the thugish goon game referred to, and encourage a faster more skilled game.
Not to keen on Ice Hockey nowadays, but, I used to see a few London Knights games at the London Arena.
