ill see lee next week as we play poker together quite often, wont see carl now for probably 5 or 6 weeks, he'll be off on holiday with his Mrs and spend some time with his mum n rest of family before returning back home.

Like you said, superb come back, really didnt think he was gonna do it to be honest, he rang my other mate up about 10 days ago saying he wasnt fully fit again but wasnt going to pull out, was a bit daft of carl but got lucky and won the fight.

if Carls last 2 fights are the benchmark of what is to come at the world stage level then i cant see many probs in the future for the TV companies paying for his fights.
The whole reason he has struggled in getting big fights is due to Mick Hennesey, i really think the sooner Carl moves on from Mick to warren he will get even bigger fights coming his way.
i think Carls next fight will be the make or break situation with Hennesey, if the TV companies dont buy into his next fight he will have to jump ship in my eyes, Mick is a muppet and thats why Warren or the Yanks wont deal with them or give them the big fights/big pay days, as well as Mick being somehow unable to secure a proper TV deal, if Froch was with Warren he'd the biggest name in british boxing, a household name, a uk legend in sport (well i think so)

He showed real heart to come back from that knockdown and fair play to him but he needs to get those hand up. He will get knocked out if he doesn't learn to get them up.

    Great fight though, cracking entertainment.

Yeah fair play to Carl it was a very exciting fight & a great comeback. But Calzaghe would smash him!! B-(

Froch-Calzaghe would be a hell of a fight. Joe doesn't have the power to knock Froch out but he may well be able to frustrate him into swinging for the cheap seats. Would be a really good one to watch I think but it wont happen IMO.

hatton/manny fight is gonna be a corker, cant wait for it
i dont agree with having to pay for it but this fight is the exception to the rule, the 2 best pound for pound fighters atm

manny on paper shud outbox hatton all day but manny has one flaw and that is he simply cant take a body shot
manny has only been stopped twice in his career but both times he was taken out with body shots
he has also publicly stated he wants to fight hatton inside, this may be just talk but if thats his plan its a big mistake
manny destroyed de la hoya by boxing him not by fighting inside

if he can avoid hattons body shots manny wins
if hatton lands a cpl body shots he wins

on the subject of calzaghe/froch, it wont happen, although it wud be the best all british fight since benn/eubank
if calzaghe was on 48/49 wins i could see him taking the fight to reach 50 straight undefeated but not on 46

froch has the power to knock calzaghe out easily but calzaghe's got under froch's skin and thats the worst thing ever for a fighter
if the fight ever does happentho calzaghe would win every round on points
