    First Blood To Manchester United

So Man U got their first win and first trophy yesterday over arch rivals Chelsea in an impressive 3-1 win.

A taste of things to come or pre-season nerves? or perhaps we should listen to the Chelsea managers excuse of his team not being fit

If that is the case, it's a good place to be with less than a week to go before the start of the season.

United looked in good shape yesterday compared to the southern lot, i think if one of them is going to struggle it will be chelsea & Liverpool will be there to take there place

At least Liverpool will have a manager this season which will make some good choices in team selection. Something that fat Spanish waiter got wrong time and time again.

With regard to the Mancs, u looked good yestaerday.Never thought i'd say this but i was really impressed with the Berbatov goal - not so much the finish but the way he was directing the play in the build-up. Classy goal.

As for the Mousers, i don't think you'll challenge but i think selwyn & his hub-cap stealing friends will be pleased with the team ethic this year - and if he gets a few quid to spend at Xmas or next summer, who knows?

Said it before & i'll say it again: Hodgson is the best thing to happen to LFC for 20 years.
