I think that could work. The problem I have is then sending it to the winner from my paypal account. That bit I don't have a clue about.

Would you not just need my email address & then send funds?

Also, if this takes off, those who send money need to send it as a gift, not a payment. If you send it as a gift they don't deduct any money.

Well if we work out some kind of system, then we can get it advertised. I will get everyone updated on how big the pot is ect as the money comes in and either at the end of the season I will send a check to the winner, or, I will somehow transfer funds into the winners paypal account.

EDIT: i've just realised that I will be sending a check to myself

The only small worry I have is that i'm away in China from the start of September for just over 3 weeks. If folks are sending money during that time I won't know what's going on with it and I won't be able to update.

So if you want to take charge of it, then i'm all for that, or even Selwyn. It's up to you guys on how you want to play it.

Doesn't everything just go into your paypal account and sit there? I know mine does

I think the end of September is probably a good shout for new sign up's, anything after that and you will probably have no chance. But, saying that, if members have already joined the league and still want to be part of it, then a cut off point isn't really needed.

I think it should just sit there until you either pay for something, or you transfer it to your bank account.

What you need to make sure though is that anyone sending you money, they need to put in their user name on the boards (if they are a member) and put a title in the email with IAAO Fantasy Football or something like that. At least then you know what it is and this thread can be updated with what has come in and by who.

Will have to be whoever finished the highest out of the fiver lot.

I'm sure most people who are signed up so far will bung a fiver in though.

You know when branners did that walking up hills thing & we sent him a few bob, is there no way of setting up a similar page? If you know what i mean.

dj welly and matt salthouse on the list are in aus and new zealand so there not going to kick in i don't think. i will start a new thread for who want's to put in
