    Post Reggae & Ragga Tune Of The Day


    With all the various tune of the day topics popping up recently, I thought I'd add another.

    Reggae and its later sub-form of Ragga played a very big part in my oldskool years and is still very close to my heart, just a shame its one of the hardest genres to collect originals vinyl copys of the good stuff these days.

    Reggae & more-so Ragga was an important influence on the U.K.'s thriving Hardcore/jungle/drum'n'bass scene. Manny manny samples appear in all of your favorite Hardcore and jungle tunes, labels and artists such as Suburban Base and Criminal Minds and lots of others borrowed heavily from these styles.

    Hard to choose my first tune to get the ball rolling, in the end I have settled for this one...

    I sampled this tune a while back, still ain't done anything with the sample (bit at the start of the dub) I think the trumpets and piano are wicked
